The way that a person absorbs music is undeniably diverse. When considering how music can be immersed by an individual and the unpredictable affect it can have, was an interesting concept which directed my thoughts throughout this project. My aim was to excite and entice customers as soon they engaged with the threshold of the space. By projecting a sense of motion and colour, I aimed to reimagine the traditional, chaotic stigma that record shops hold.

The Place to Brie, is a cheesemonger located in one of the most popular districts in Glasgow, Finnieston. Inspired by vintage facade designs, I came up with the idea of creating a classical shop front - this directed my aesthetic decisions throughout the project. Apart from focusing on materials with an aged and industrial style, I wanted visitors enjoy their shopping journey in the space. From the cheesecloth display to the cheese tasting section in the shop, I aimed at creating an atmosphere that introduced customers to the cheesemaking process, as if they were shopping in a ‘cheese factory’.

Meat is the most popular protein in the world. Nevertheless, many of us are still very confused by the range of choices and not knowing the proper way of preparing some cuts are staying in their cooking comfort zone. This project is about creating a butcher shop that would not only sell the meat but also let the client explore the world of protein they are selling via an interaction with the staff as well as with the shop interior.

My aim was to design a high fashion headwear boutique for women. The interior reflects the product and presents the designers' work in an exciting environment. Customers find a refreshing combination of conceptual ideas, craftsmanship and design. The space provides a distinctive and memorable experience.

With a focus on light and clarity I wanted this to reflect in the brand and experience within my opticians shop. In the images shown is the logo idea and some pictures of the way that the shapes of the materials in the shop coordinate from a model. Using panels of acrylic and mirror to form the concept within this space.

The Cheeseboard Collective is an artisanal cheesemonger by day and a wine bar by night, attracting both regular clientele and passersby. The interior is inspired by the cheesemaking process itself - for instance, the wooden hanging structure over the shop was derived from the drying process of goats cheese. I also wanted to explore branding, creating the shop’s logo, a custom cheeseboard, and packaging. The space is warm and relaxed, filled with high quality materials which highlight the merchandise.
